Black Light Spooks at Orbital Comics
On Friday 28th October, commercial and comic artist John Watkiss will be discussing his work in movie and TV development from the point of view of his background working in the comics industry for such publishers as DC, Marvel and Dark Horse. John has played a key role in the development of a number of recent Hollywood movies, including Sherlock Holmes, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and many more, as well as producing concept art for the upcoming second series of The Walking Dead. John will have a large selection of signed original concept art available for sale at the event.
He will also be demonstrating his spectacular Black Light Spooks: forget the rubber masks, plastic skeletons and cheesy blood and gore – the Black Light Spooks will present themselves as tortured phantom souls floating before you in black space, reaching out from the dark, pitiful yet menacing.
This unmissable Halloween event starts at 7pm.
